Milwaukee Birthright Second Baby Twin
-
"I'm seven months pregnant and just got off the bus from California, I'm in a phone booth, it's pouring, and I don't know what to do." Our volunteer immediately contacted a social worker, and by the next day, she had a doctor appointment, a place to stay, and new friends. Soon her beautiful baby was born.

A call came in from a young woman from the French-speaking part of Africa who needed a pregnancy test. Luckily, the Birthright Volunteer remembered her high school French. The test was positive. We helped her find a doctor, an apartment, and furnishings. A beautiful little girl was born and we outfitted her with clothing and necessities…and we continue to stay in touch.

Our Mission Statment
Birthright is an interfaith, inter-racial organization founded on the principle that it is the right of every pregnant woman to give birth and the right of every child to be born. Birthright believes that no woman should be forced to obtain an abortion because she is unaware of the practical, positive assistance that is available to her. Birthright provides information necessary for women involved in problem pregnancies to make enlightened, knowledgeable decisions about their futures and the futures of their unborn children. (It should be noted that our Mission Statement has not changed since our inception in 1971.)
