Spring, 2015 Greetings
With the longer days of sunshine, plants and trees bursting forth with new growth, and the birds returning with their beautiful songs; one can’t help but celebrate the energy and new life that is spring. At Milwaukee Birthright, we celebrate new life all year! One month before a woman’s due date, or shortly after she has given birth, Birthright provides this mom with blankets, a quilt, diapers, and a complete baby’s first wardrobe. Thanks to our many donors, we are able to provide this free of charge. We also offer free pregnancy testing and referral information for doctors, insurance, parenting classes, etc. . . . whatever is needed.

Some women come to us seeking abortion. Birthright does not, will not, give any information or referrals for procedures that would end the life of an unborn child and potentially injure the mother (physically and/or emotionally). Some women hear our words of hope and comfort and decide to choose life. Several of them are about to give birth in late spring and early summer. What a reason for celebration! Birthright has been blessed with a new volunteer, Monica. Our office is now able to be open four afternoons per week. Additional volunteers are still needed for office hours and for our phone helpline. Training is provided. Please consider joining our dedicated volunteer team of Veronica, Karen, Mary H., Mary K., Jamie, Jennie, and now, Monica. Contact Judy at (414)672-5433 or visit our web page at www.milwaukeebirthright.com for a volunteer application.

Birthright sends our gratitude to Veronica Ceszynski for working many years as executive director and continuing service as a volunteer. Veronica is the face of hope and inspiration! Enjoy your retirement! Our continued gratitude to Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, the Felician Sisters, Milwaukee Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women (MACCW), Christ Child Society, Catholic Daughters of Lake Geneva, the Doris Bowen Living Trust, the following congregations: St. Alphonsus, St. Eugene’s, St. James, St. John Vianney, St. Matthias, Our Lady of Good Hope, St. Veronica’s, and all other donors who share their love, prayers, Blessings to All, and finances with our needy moms and babies.

Save the date for our annual dinner meeting and silent auction. The event will take place on Friday November 13, 2015 at San Camillo, located at 10200 W. Bluemound Road in Wauwatosa.
